License Terms

Licenses are non-transferable and apply to the individual or entity that purchases them. Redistribution, sublicensing, or sharing of engine source materials is prohibited without written permission.

The Personal tier permits non-commercial, personal, and educational use only. The Individual tier permits commercial use by a single developer. Enterprise licenses are negotiated per-organization and include custom terms.

Can I use the Personal tier for game jams or prototypes?

Yes. The Personal tier covers personal projects, game jams, prototypes, and learning. If you plan to release a commercial product, you will need an Individual or Enterprise license.

What counts as a “team of 1”?

A solo developer working independently, without other contributors using or integrating the Yggdrasil World Engine in the same project.
