How You Play
Yggdrasil Game is a mythic RPG where exploration, perception, and choice matter more than combat stats. You explore a world layered with hidden realms. You make choices that shift your attunement and shape what you can perceive. Your two wolf companions grow alongside you, reflecting your balance. And the mythology of the world writes itself around your actions.
Core Experience
Exploration
Traverse a world where what you see depends on who you are. The same forest may be peaceful to one traveler and haunted for another. Realm attunement determines the depth of your experience.
Quests
Quests are not scripted — they emerge from the cosmic state of the world and your unique perception. Every quest supports multiple completion paths. Some quests reveal themselves only to those with specific attunements.
Wolves
Your White Wolf and Dark Wolf are always with you. They grow through your experiences, fight beside you, appear in visions, and guide you through threshold moments. Balance them well.
Choices
Every meaningful choice shifts your wolf alignment, your realm attunement, and the prophecies that find you. There are no purely good or purely evil paths — only balance, imbalance, and the consequences of each.
Progression
Growth is not measured in levels alone. As you deepen your attunement, new realms become perceptible. As your wolves grow, new abilities and insights emerge. As your legend grows, the world itself begins to remember you.
Mythic Identity
Your significant actions become part of the world’s mythology. Songs are written about you. Shrines appear. Cults form around distorted versions of your deeds. Your identity is not chosen — it is revealed through play.
